| 1. Start looking for the grocery coupon circulars
in the Sunday newspaper--there are usually 2 every week. One
says "SmartSource" across the top in big red
letters, and one says "Valassis" in small black
letters in the upper left corner. Save the entire
grocery coupon circular every week, and write the date
on the front of the circular. If you forget to
do that, you can find the date printed on the spine of the circular,
at the top. The Cut Out Hunger system is based on making
it as easy as possible to use coupons, therefore, you will be
able to use the online coupon database (called the Virtual Coupon
Organizer) and your city's Best Deals lists easily once you
have a "library" of coupon circulars to reference. |
|
| 2. Browse the "Best Deals" lists for your
store every week (they are listed
alphabetically by state on the homepage, in the middle blue
section).. We find the best sale prices and match
them with available coupons for you--saving you hours of work
a month! Price lists are updated the day the store prices
change. |
|
3. Review the Frequently
Asked Questions for further explanation of how the program
works.
|
4. If your city doesn't have a Best Deals list, use
the Virtual Coupon Organizer
for your city to create your own Best Deals list for any store.
When you see the item on sale, see if a coupon is available,
select it and print the full list of coupons you'll need to
match your store's sales each week.

| 6. Many Cut Out Hunger shoppers donate food to charity
once they learn how easily they can buy great items for pennies.
It is an easy way to help millions of hungry children and adults
in our country. Check our Donate
Food page for more details. |
